A long, long time ago, a young countess lived in a beautiful, green land. She dreamed of extraordinary adventures and long journeys.

The girl liked to walk around the surrounding fields and groves, imagining that she was visiting far away lands and beautiful, lush gardens full of exotic plants. One day the little countess met a mysterious wanderer. She told him about her dreams. He turned out to be a great traveller with a kind heart and gave the girl an unusual basket full of paper bags and mysterious packages. The countess rushed to her friend, an old gardener, and showed him this wonderful gift. It turned out that the basket held seedlings and seeds of exotic plants. The little countess was happy beyond words. Together with the gardener they planted and sowed all the plants in a sunny corner.

The little countess grew up and beautiful, lush exotic trees grew with her, including her favourite peaches and fruit bushes. This way, the land of Countess M. was filled every year with the extraordinary aroma of fruits, whose taste became famous in the whole region. All the trees and bushes from distant lands have been growing beautifully and blessing us with fruit ever since that day.

Even now you can meet the spirit of Countess M. wandering around the vineyard, caring for the harvest, quality and unique taste of our wines… from Słoneczny Zakątek.

The Słoneczny Zakątek vineyard was established in 2012, in north-western Poland. It’s located on a hill facing south-west. The land where the vineyard is located has been used for centuries for cultivating fruit trees and shrubs.

The perfect location, sunshine and proximity of a water reservoir create
a unique microclimate, which favours grapevines. Planting was preceded by years of diligent observations of the hill, studies and analyses of soil, which had been previously specially prepared for the cultivation of grapevines.

All work and treatments in the vineyard are done manually. Each and every one of our grapevines is nurtured with the greatest care. Grapes used in production of our wine come exclusively from our crops, which are grown without any artificial plant protection products or fertilizers. All work and treatments are carried out in strict harmony with the vines’ growth cycle, after careful and systematic observations of plants.

To get the best fruit, we cut the shoots and limit the number of bunches through green harvesting. Our wine is pure nature, with no artificial colouring or added sugar. All wines are produced according to the art of winemaking.

When you open a a bottle of wine from the Słoneczny Zakątek Vineyard, you can be sure that what you find inside was created only from the best, selected grapes. The fruits are carefully monitored and controlled, and harvesting takes place when they are at their optimum ripeness. The grapes are carefully and manually inspected, with only the best fruits selected. The right level of sugar and ripeness of the grapes allow you to enjoy a delicious, natural, regional wine. Manual harvesting and selection make it possible to maintain the highest quality of fruit. Thanks to the precise and careful work during production, each bottle carries with it a piece of the Słoneczny Zakątek Vineyard.

Thanks to the care we take in assuring the highest possible quality, we received the title of the Polish Vineyard of the Year of 2017 at the prestigious New York International Wine Competition 2017 and Berlin International Wine Competition 2017.

ideal for lovers of complex and very tart wines, it distinguishes itself by its intense deep taste. It owes its character to the French varieties Marechal Foch and Leon Millot, from which it was created. The bouquet features clearly noticeable tobacco and oak overtones. Aged for two weeks in oak barrels. The combination of Leon’s low acidity and Marechal Foch’s higher acidity results in a perfectly balanced wine. Best with red meat and venison.
